In accordance with Massachusetts General Laws 114 § 45, you must present a Burial Permit for the interment of remains on or before the day of service.
Burial Permit, Signed Interment Order, Original Cremation Certificate (if applicable) and Payment are all due on the day of service.

2015 Annual Memorial Day Masses
The Board of Directors of the Boston Catholic Cemetery Association would like to invite you to attend our Memorial Day Masses.
Our Annual Memorial Day Masses will be held on
Monday May 25th this year.We sincerely hope you will be able to attend.
The complete Mass schedule for Monday May 25, 2015 is:
Mount Benedict Cemetery, 409 Corey Street, West Roxbury at 10:00 am. We will have a tent and seating at the main entrance.
New Calvary Cemetery, 800 Harvard Street, Mattapan at 11:00 am. Just follow the signs to section 23 and our outdoor Chapel with canopy & seating.

Closed for Major Snowstorm Monday 2/9/2015
All of our offices and cemeteries will be closed on Monday February 9, 2015 due to the impending snow storm. We expect to have the Mt. Calvary Office partially staffed by noon on Tuesday February 10th and should be able to update our status to accept services at that time. We thank you for your patience.
Closed for Blizzard on Tuesday January 27
The offices and the cemetery grounds of The Boston Catholic Cemetery Association will be closed on Tuesday January 27th due to the expected Blizzard. We will attempt to staff the Mt. Calvary office on Wednesday. Our ability to achieve that will depend upon the severity of the storm and its duration.The Mount Benedict Office will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. We will accept services again beginning on Thursday 1/29/15.

The third week of November The Boston Catholic Cemetery Association held its annual meeting. During that meeting the association presented Walter May with a plaque for his sixty three years of service to the association. Thank you Walter!!!
Happy Thanksgiving
Our cemetery offices will be closing at 11:30 am on Wednesday November 26th to allow our staff time to prepare for the Thanksgiving Holiday with their families.

New Information Sign Board
We have just installed a new information signboard at New Calvary Cemetery.
We hope to add one at Mt. Calvary and Mt. Benedict Cemeteries in the future.

Improvements at the Mt. Calvary Office
The holiday weekend of October 10,11,12 and 13 we will be installing new tile flooring at our Mt. Calvary (main) Office. We will have limited computer and telephone access. We hope to be fully functioning on Tuesday October 14th.We thank you for your patience while we improve the look of our main office.
New Calvary Office combined with Mt. Calvary Office as of 10/1/2014
The New Calvary Cemetery Office administrative functions have now been permanently combined with the Mt. Calvary office functions. Both cemeteries will be serviced by the Mt. Calvary Office located at 366 Cummins Highway in Roslindale. The New Calvary phone is still in service (617-296-2339) and will now be answered at the Mt. Calvary office. Thank you for your patience during the transition.
