In accordance with Massachusetts General Laws 114 § 45, you must present a Burial Permit for the interment of remains on or before the day of service.
Burial Permit, Signed Interment Order, Original Cremation Certificate (if applicable) and Payment are all due on the day of service.

President’s Day Observance
Our offices will be closed on Monday February 15, 2016 in observance of President’s Day.
We will be open for services and our gates will be open from 7:30am to 4:00pm.

The Staff and The Board of Directors would like to wish you a Very Merry Christmas.
We hope you and your families have a healthy and joyous holiday!
Our offices will close at 11:30am on Christmas Eve and be closed for the holiday weekend.
In addition our offices will close on New Years Eve at 11:30am and be closed on New Years Day.
The cemetery gates will be open all days from 7:30am to 4:00pm sharp.

Labor Day Hours
The offices of The Boston Catholic Cemetery Association will be closed in observance of Labor Day on Monday September 7, 2015. The cemetery gates at Mt. Benedict, Mt. Calvary and New Calvary Cemeteries will be open normal hours as posted on our website.

July 4th Holiday Observance
On Friday July 3, 2015 no services will be scheduled for Mt. Calvary, New Calvary and Mt. Benedict Cemeteries and cemetery offices at Mt. Calvary and Mt. Benedict cemeteries will be closed in observance of Independence Day. In addition there will be no services scheduled for Saturday July 4, 2015. If you anticipate that you will need to schedule a service for Monday July 6, 2015 please call our office by noon on Thursday July 2nd so we can have the opening set for your service. The gates will be open normal weekday hours for the holiday.
New Section Opens at Mt. Benedict Cemetery
We are excited to announce that a new section of 2 grave lots is now available at Mt. Benedict Cemetery. The Section is J-4. This is the last double grave section that will be developed at the top of the hill in Mt. Benedict. The 2 grave lot will allow burial for four full casket interments and 4 cremations as well. Pricing will be $5,000.00 per 2 grave lot.
In addition a few additional 2 grave lots have been added to Section J-3.
Memorial Weekend Hours
The Hours for the Saturday, Sunday and Monday of Memorial Day weekend are as follows:
Our Main Office, located Mt. Calvary Cemetery and Mt. Benedict Office will be open from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
The offices will be closed for lunch from 12 noon to 1:00pm.
The gates at Mt. Calvary and New Calvary Cemeteries will be open from 7:30am until 6:30pm.
The gates at Mt. Benedict will be open from 7:30am until 7:00pm.
The gates at St. Mary’s Cemetery will be open from 9:00am until 2:00pm.
Our Annual Memorial Day Masses will be held on
Monday May 25th this year.
The complete Mass schedule for Monday May 25, 2015 is:
Mount Benedict Cemetery, 409 Corey Street, West Roxbury at 10:00 am. We will have a tent and seating at the main entrance.
New Calvary Cemetery, 800 Harvard Street, Mattapan at 11:00 am. Just follow the signs to section 23 and our outdoor Chapel with canopy & seating.
