In accordance with Massachusetts General Laws 114 § 45, you must present a Burial Permit for the interment of remains on or before the day of service.
Burial Permit, Signed Interment Order, Original Cremation Certificate (if applicable) and Payment are all due on the day of service.

Three Important Things to Know
1. Our gates are open 7:30am to 6:30pm
Sat. 5/28, Sun. 5/29 and Mon. 5/30
(St. Marys is open 9am to 2pm)
2. Our offices at Mt. Calvary and Mt. Benedict
will be open Sat. 5/28, Sun. 5/29 and Mon. 5/30
from 8:30am to 12:30pm.
3. Our Memorial Day Mass will be celebrated on Mon. 5/30.
Mt. Benedict at 10:00am.
New Calvary at 11:00am.

We would like to wish all of the moms a
Happy Mothers Day!!!
Our gates will be open from 7:30am to 6:30 pm all weekend.

Memorial Day Flags
During the couple of weeks before Memorial Day local volunteer groups will be decorating the graves of veterans with American Flags.
They do their best to insure that each veteran receives a flag. There are times that there is an oversight.
If this does happen please be aware that the cemetery does not place the flags or maintain records of veterans interred at our cemeteries.
We have a very limited supply of flags that are provided to us by Veteran’s Services should a Veterans grave not be decorated .
Should a flag fail to be placed on a loved ones grave you need to contact Veteran’s Services at 617-635-3507.

Patriot’s Day Observance
Our offices will be closed on Monday April 18, 2016 in observance of Patriot’s Day.
We will be open for services and our gates will be open from 7:30am to 6:30pm.
2016 Memorial Day Masses
The Board of Directors of the Boston Catholic Cemetery Association would like to invite you to attend our 2016 Memorial Day Masses.
Our Annual Memorial Day Masses will be held on
Monday May 30th this year. We sincerely hope you will be able to attend.
The complete Mass schedule for Monday May 30, 2016 is:
Mount Benedict Cemetery, 409 Corey Street, West Roxbury at 10:00 am. We will have a tent and seating at the main entrance.
New Calvary Cemetery, 800 Harvard Street, Mattapan at 11:00 am. Just follow the signs to section 23 and our outdoor Chapel with canopy & seating.
PLEASE NOTE OUR OFFICES AT MT. CALVARY AND MT. BENEDICT WILL BE OPEN MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND FROM 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
Our gates will be open from 7:30am to 6:30pm (Mt. Benedict until 7:00pm) all weekend.

Happy Easter
With Easter quickly approaching we like to let you know that our gates
will be open Easter weekend from 7:30 am and will close at 6:30pm.
Our offices will close at Noon on Good Friday.

SPRING TIME CHANGE AND GATE HOURS
It’s time to set the clocks ahead again.
Beginning Sunday March 13th the gates at our cemeteries will be open longer each day.
The hours at Mt. Calvary and New Calvary will be 7:30am to 6:30pm and the hours at Mt. Benedict will be 7:30am to 7:00pm.
